Detox Green Smoothie

Serves: 1 Prep: 5 mins


Ingredients

  • 1/2 medium banana

  • 2/3 cup frozen mango

  • 1 stalk celery

  • Handful of raw spinach

  • ½ freshly juiced lemon

  • 1 tsp chopped ginger

  • 1 sprig mint leaves

Optional extras

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp wheatgrass powder

  • ½ – 1 tsp spirulina

  • 1 tsp hemp protein

  • 1 tsp flaxseed


Method

  1. Chop fruit and veg into small pieces.

  2. Add all ingredients to blender with a cup of cold water (adjust water amount to your desired smoothie consistency).

  3. Blend and enjoy.

Notes

  • Double ingredients if you want to make an extra serving to have tomorrow.

  • Store in airtight bottle/ container overnight or you can freeze.

  • You can prep this recipe by putting all the ingredients into your blender (not blending) and keep in fridge overnight until you are ready to blend and drink fresh.
